Start of Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium (YES 2010). Woke up like 6am, prepared.

Dressed in an old pair of jeans which is like short (HAPPY) and vest. HAAAA. Smart casual ya.

Mum and dad sent me to NUS, with sw of course.

LOL a bit funny to have both of them sending me.

But thanks! So tired still wake up send me there. (L)



Reached clementi and waited for the others. Boarded a bus, saw old friend - fang qi while fang qi's friend is sw's old friend. The world is really small.

Alighted at wrong stop, Luckily it is a loop, boarded the next bus to NUS.



My industry was Fashion and Design. (: Fun people.

Had ice-breakers games and received Nebo gifts. Then proceed to LT for talks talks talks. :D

After that had lunch. The food is nice! Love the cream puffs.

Signed up for parallel sessions and had more sharing.

Fine I was falling asleep :/


Then we had industry visit; To Blackmarket.

A store situated near bugis.


Dismissed after that. Went to Starbucks with XinTing and Jolene (:

Discussed about YES quick pitch (which is a presentation) and they readily agreed on my idea of having a pink cafe haha!!

Love girls.

Walked around in search of shoes but failed terribly. Well.

Went our own ways after that.


Trained to Raffles in search of sw. And I lost my way HAAAAH!

But at least I got some common sense to bring me around.


Trained back to woodlands, met Big Cow, Lys (big cow's daddy), and JS.

Wanted to catch a movie but there wasn't appealing seats.

Had dinner at Mos Burger and talked a lot with them. Laughs.

At least I knew something I didn't know.

A bit sad cause I only knew it now, if it was earlier. IF.



I guess they went for movie ite and I went home.

Did ppt and after that I guess you know, I'm sick and vomitted lalala~




Woke up, prepared. Dress code: Business wear. I don't have any haha! Anyhow!

Lost our way in NUS. Dad drove us. Ended up making him late for work :(

After 1 night of preparation, presented. got into semi-finals. LOL

Before semifinals met a super nice person (gui deng). He's studying for his Masters in Business.

Gave us lots of advices even we don't know one another!

NICE.



Freaking nervous presenting to a panel of judges with viewers. Well.


Dismissed after another hour of interaction with entrepreneurs.


Went to clementi for dinner with sw. LJS.

Crapped and talked a lot! MRT home after that. Reach home like 11 le. LOL we talked for super long!

Met MM and he passed me a cheesecake he baked. LOL Thanks.

I haven't eaten though, shall do that later.


Home after that :D





Dress code: Business wear. I really don't have, pulled out racerback with P6 bought skirt LOL.

Thought of excuse to skip the morning activities :/

Went there after lunch. Wanna go in during lunch but sadly, we didn't make it.

Got vending machine bread and melon milk, went to sem room prepare for final presentation :D

Seriously, we didn't even prepare much, no speech, no skit, just a dream. And we succeeded ! :D:D

But I'm damn nervous when presenting to the whole lecture hall.

Lesson learnt: Sometimes, don't think too much. Have a dream, hold on to it, hold on till the end, do something about it, and there you go! You reached your goal.


Through this symposium, especially this quick pitch, I really see, the process is more important.

Even if we didn't win the quick pitch, I wouldn't regret.

I got so many advices, so much fun fantasizing about my dream world, isn't that the greatest thing of all?

And that brings me back to the title of this post(which I find super inspiring):

The dinner was awesome, sakae supposed buffet.

I even had fresh oysters! I can't believe I ate that shit stuff too :/ But I don't quite like it.

Love the mushroom soup, sushi, chicken etcetc!



Full like hell. Took 188 to CCK. Went into lot 1, took pictures blahblah and toilet light suddenly off.

This time round, I didn't scream HAAA!

I got braver over time.

One day after

OMG REALLY. TALL. HAIR IS FUNNILY MESSED UP BUT CUTE. SHARP NOSE. AMAZING EYES. HOT.

I think, from far he looks quite good.
Sw tried to snap a picture of him hahaaa! think quite blur.

HAAAA! Wished I was getting the trophy from him instead!


Xt suggested recruiting him into our cafe hahahaa . (:

These 3 days were really fun and engaging. I learned a lot from the successful entrepreneurs.

They were determined, passionate. I want to be like them too. In studies, in life.

I interacted with many other people in different JC. I'm glad I did cause I know a lot of fun people.

I will remember those advices.


I'm really glad I had a chance to meet the big boss of Sakae Sushi :D
Anddddd! I wanna pursue business course in NUS/SMU or whatever.
HAAAAAAH! Kinda have the urge to do business. It's like a new found passion.!
