- CH4, N2O, CO are increasing in the air we breath.
This would lead to global warming, acid rain, etc.
I believe all of us don't want to live in a world that's so polluted and hot right.
What can we do?
Cut down the use of cars:
14% of the total pollutants are produced by vehicles.
Use public transport or best, walk to your destination.
Use fans instead of air-cons.
How many really do this? Selfish people don't.
Aircon cools you down but "heats" up the Earth. You can try opening the windows or using fans to cut down energy consumption.
Anyhow, sweating is good for health. If you really have to on the aircon, keep the temp at 25.
Using recycling bags instead of plastic bags.
Advise your parents. When doing grocery shopping, prepare your own bag to carry to prevent wastage of plastic bags. In Singapore, 24billions of plastic bags were being thrown away every year, meaning 1 person use around 625 bags a year! Plastic bags are harmful to the environment. You can help by not asking for a carrier.
Off lights when not in use.
Off anything when not in use. Basically, when you 'off' the TV via remote control, the electricity is not totally cut off, and because of this, the TV will use 1.2WATTS(or Volts) per hrs. A lot over the time.
